    The Aviation Museum of Santa Paula chronicles the history of Santa Paula aviation through hangars full of antique aircraft, personal equipment and artifacts. The museum is located at the Santa Paula Airport which is closed in bad weather.

    The California Oil Museum tells the story of "black gold" in California's history and how it affected its industry and wealth. Visitors will see antique equipment and related gas station artifacts, videos, and photographs.

    The Commemorative Air Force Museum in Camarillo honors the history of military aviation by preserving and restoring combat aircraft and other artifacts. Take a plane ride, tour one of many antique aircraft (that were actually flown by the military) with knowledgeable tour guides, or watch airshows. Aircraft include the F8F-2 Bearcat, the Fairchild PT-19A Cornell, and the SNJ-5 Texan and many more.

    Gull Wings Children's Museum in Oxnard is Ventura County's only children's museum and features many different interactive exhibits to encourage learning and play. Exhibits include a touchable marine animal tank, lego room, and a treasure cave.

    The Museum of Ventura County showcases the history, culture, and art over Ventura County's lifetime through fine arts, artifacts from events such as the Spanish American War and the Saint Francis Dam Disaster, and extensive research library. The museum also hosts special events, children's programs, and runs the Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula.

    The Ronald Reagan Library and Museum in Simi Valley is dedicated to the former President. The library and museum feature changing and permanent exhibits, some of which include the world of espionage where equipment and documents of the FBI, KGB, and CIA are on display, and the actual Air Force One plane used for President Nixon through President G.W. Bush which visitors can board and tour. There is a replica Oval Office, as well, and the library holds millions of pages of documents and photos from his administration.

    The Santa Paula Art Museum features the Santa Paula Art Collection, which is made up of Southern California art reflecting the history and culture of the area. The museum hosts many events, shows, and gallery talks every year and is located in the historic Limoneira building downtown.

    The U.S. Navy Seabee Museum is the 2nd oldest Navy museum and is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history of the Navy's Construction Force or Civil Engineer Corps, better known as the Seabees. In addition to related artifacts and photos, the museum has a list of histories for the 325,000 Seabees who served during World War II and a walkway made of memorial bricks, which visitors can also access online.

    The Camarillo Bird Museum is a non-profit research institution focused on providing education to the public as well as avian researchers through its world-class collections of bird-related items. The museum features 225,000 sets of bird eggs from 4,000 species (the world's largest collection), 20,000 nests, over 7,000 books and natural history journals, and one of North America's largest collections of bird study skins (like stuffed birds on display).
